The Phantom Targets event in ARC Raiders gives squads a series of objectives that are much easier to handle when everyone has a clear role. While ARC Raiders BluePrints are not the main focus of this event, players working toward better equipment can use these missions as a useful opportunity to improve their loadouts, collect resources, and prepare for tougher encounters.
For players already familiar with ARC Raiders BluePrints, the Phantom Targets objectives also offer a good example of why preparation matters. Several tasks require specific damage types or enemy components, so entering a raid without a plan can waste valuable time. A coordinated squad can divide these jobs between teammates and complete the event with fewer unnecessary fights.
Start With the Antenna Objectives
The first phase requires players to locate and upgrade three antennas positioned on top of Cargo Elevators. These locations also function as extraction points, which means they can attract both ARC enemies and other players.
Dam Battlegrounds and Spaceport are useful places to work on this stage because they can provide multiple extraction locations. Once the squad reaches an elevator, avoid having everyone interact with the antenna. One player should handle the objective while the others watch the surrounding area.
The interaction takes time, so clearing nearby enemies before starting is important. Teammates should also check likely approaches for rival players. If the area becomes too dangerous, there is no reason to force the interaction.
Spread the Work Across Raids
The antenna progress does not have to be completed during one deployment. This makes the first phase much less stressful.
A squad can complete one antenna, collect some useful loot, and extract safely. During another raid, the team can target another extraction point. This approach may take an extra deployment, but it reduces the chance of losing progress because someone tried to finish everything in one risky run.
Farming the Required ARC Components
The second phase focuses on using ARC components as weapons. Players need to deal 50 damage with Pop Triggers, 500 damage with Wasp Drivers, and 1,000 damage with Leaper Pulse Units.
The best approach is to divide the farming responsibilities. One player can search for white Orb Pops while another watches for Wasps. A third teammate can focus on Leapers. This prevents everyone from chasing the same target and makes the required components easier to collect.
Stella Montis and the Buried City can provide useful opportunities for this kind of farming. Once the squad has enough components, avoid immediately using them against weak enemies.
Use Large Targets for Better Progress
Slow, durable ARC enemies are much better targets for the component damage requirements. Bombardiers and Bastions can survive multiple attacks, giving the squad more opportunities to use the required items.
Crowd control makes this even easier. A teammate can use a Showstopper to stun a suitable target, allowing another player to place Wasp Drivers or Leaper Pulse Units safely. Communication matters here because wasting these components on an unsuitable target can slow the entire team down.
Coordinate the Final Destruction Tasks
The last phase combines fire damage, energy-weapon kills, and flying ARC kills. The squad needs to deal 1,500 fire damage, destroy three qualifying ARC enemies with an energy weapon as the final hit, and eliminate 20 flying ARC enemies with launcher ammunition.
For the fire requirement, several teammates can carry Blaze Grenades or Fireball Burners. Rather than throwing everything simultaneously, spread the attacks out so the burning effects have time to deal damage.
The energy kills require more discipline because assists do not count. Assign one player to secure the final hits while the rest of the squad weakens the target. The Jupiter sniper rifle can be especially useful for this role.
Farm Flying Enemies Efficiently
The 20 flying kills can take longer if the squad simply waits for random encounters. A Snitch drone provides a better opportunity because its alerts can bring in Wasps and Hornets.
Once the flying enemies appear, the designated player can use a Hullcracker or another suitable launcher to secure the kills. Teammates should avoid accidentally finishing the targets with other weapons.
Prepare for the Next Stage
Phantom Targets also gives squads a reason to prepare for the next part of the event. The Aphelion, Dolabra, and Jupiter rewards can be useful when facing tougher ARC variants after Update 1.42.
Before leaving for another deployment, clean up your stash and keep useful crafting materials. A well-organized inventory makes it easier to build defensive loadouts and bring the right equipment into the next raid.
For players who want to reduce the time spent gathering resources between mission runs, another option is to buy ARC Coins and keep the focus on the activities that actually matter to their current progression. The important thing is to balance convenience with a loadout that fits the way your squad plays.
When the Phantom Targets missions are approached as coordinated team objectives rather than individual chores, the whole event becomes smoother. Good communication, sensible role assignments, and careful extractions can save a surprising amount of time.
